More progress on the woman with the headphones. I decided to pose her before I was done all the detailing to make things a bit easier for me. Later on I will bring her into Maya, toss a dress on her and make a small environment for her.

This is now an out of date render, unfortunately it is all I have to show at the moment.
So I decided to change the curtains to something light. I took off the big sploch in the middle of the curtain as it felt to out of place. I have also changed the guitar, making it more glossy and changing the texture taking off the decal and brightening the red a little bit. I was finally able to find the source of all the noise in my scene, the portal light was given too much room for error. I took it out by changing the high and low samples. In the end, I am very happy with how this room has turned out.

So we haven't seen this one in a while. I sat down and did a lot of work on her skin making it less orange and have more colour variation. I also added a hair line to her skin so it didn't look like she was wearing a wig, I used the darker colour of her hair and then tinted it blue, after looking at my own hair line I saw that the hair under the skin had that slight tinting to it.
I need to start looking into a background for her now, which hopefully wont take too much time.

Below are some some older renders so you an see where here skin was before I started touching it up.

Something I drew for the class as a "brand" so to speak. I thought it would be fun to see people in a cartoon fashion.
I chose to draw the facial expression I see the most from people while putting their personality into the character as well. I used a few references but mostly this is how I see people in my own mind.
I am actually pretty happy with how this turned out.

Well I re-did Taffy's base. I feel much better about it now. It took a few tires and a lot of texture and alpha experimentation in zbrush to get this to where it is. These are some renders with the AO added onto them. I am going to look at adding a nice background onto these when I am getting ready to composite everything together.
Now to move onto the other scenes to add the final touches.
